The Best Path To Becoming Wealthy And Fulfilled

Photo by John Mccann on Unsplash — What does your current path look like? Is it what you want?

What is the best path for you to become wealthy and fulfilled?

This is (literally) the million-dollar question.

And you might be thinking to yourself “If this guy REALLY knew this, would he just write an article about it???” and the answer is yes.

It’s really not that complicated to explain the concept. The hard part is EXECUTING the concept.

And it’s exactly because the execution is tough that most people don’t follow a path that leads them to wealth and fulfillment.

Also, this is all just the way I view the world. You don’t necessarily need to agree.

So, let’s start with being wealthy.

The first thing you need to decide is how wealthy you need to be in order to feel safe and happy.

It has been proven time and time again that more money does NOT equal more happiness. After a certain amount of wealth, increasing it does not necessarily mean you will feel happier.

So, define your target. If it’s earning 100k per year, it’s earning 100k per year. If it’s 1 million, it’s 1 million. We’re all different so I’ll leave it up to you. The important thing here is to not limit yourself. Just think of the ideal amount of wealth you’d need and leave it at that.

Once that has been defined, you’ll now have a destination to get to.

The next question is how can you get to that destination of wealth?

This is exactly where the fulfillment part comes in and it’s exactly also where a lot of people make a mistake.

People start their thought process with “What are things that can give me that amount of money?”, but instead they should first start by thinking “What is it that I truly enjoy doing? What are the things that actually GIVE me energy, rather than take it, when I do them for long periods of time?”

In order words, what passions do you have that you can follow?

At this point, some people WILL have passions they can follow and others will think “I don’t know. There’s really nothing I like to do that much”. If you’re the latter, first try to think of your passions without associating making money. If after that you still can’t come up with anything, then guess what?

You’re just inexperienced. You need to go out into the world and EXPERIENCE stuff.

If you’ve never played the guitar, go try it. If you’ve never painted, go paint. If you’ve never ridden a bicycle before, go ride one!

Go try as many different activities as you can. Maybe even sign up for a “Temp Job” company that can give you the opportunity to try different types of jobs.

Whatever your passions are, if you don’t know what they are it must be your MISSION to find out. Otherwise, you’ll have a really hard time being able to feel fulfilled in your life.

And another reason why it’s so important to find your passion is that, in order to make a lot of money doing something, you need to LOVE doing it. Otherwise, your fuel will run out and you’ll just give up once you’re tired.

And again, going back to figuring out what your passion might be, don’t start by thinking of the money.

Imagine you’re a 25-year-old woman who just thinks “I really enjoy taking care of young children. I just love children!”

After thinking that, she could think “Oh, but being a mother or a babysitter isn’t going to make me wealthy”. STOP right there. Don’t limit yourself.

If you enjoy taking care of children, there’s a multitude of things you could do. You could create your own daycare and be creative about it. If you’re extremely creative it could even end up being a franchise or something of the sort. Maybe you’ll discover some sort of amazing technique that calms kids down and you can publish a book or an online course about it. Maybe you can have a TikTok account teaching other people how to take care of their kids.

WHATEVER your passion is, it will be possible to monetize it. But you must first start with the PASSION and then see how it can help you become wealthy.

If you absolutely cannot see a way for your passion to provide you with a quality level of living, then you should still keep doing it at least as a hobby. If it’s your passion, it fulfills you. So, you better do it consistently!

But I honestly doubt you can’t make money from it. Maybe at first, sure. But eventually, after you’ve mastered it? Very few things can’t be monetized.

I can tell you right now that if you put 10,000 hours into a passion of yours, it will be quite hard to not be able to make money from it. You’d easily be one of the most skilled people in the world at it and your talent would definitely be worth something.

So, assuming now that you’ve found your passion, and that you no longer have self-limiting beliefs about it, all you need to do is work towards being able to make money from it.

If you can make lots of money from what you love doing, then the equation is solved. You’ll be wealthy doing something you love, which will bring you fulfillment. You’ll be wealthy AND fulfilled!

(Although never forget that, in order to feel fulfilled, you also need to always have goals to aspire to. Make sure you’re always running towards a finish line, even after having crossed other finish lines before)

But the question now is: what if your passion just isn’t enough to become wealthy?

Well, that’s when you just need to make enough to provide for yourself while also being able to have some money on the side to invest.

I’m not a financial advisor, but I can tell you that it’s been proven time and time again that people who are (and stay) wealthy always invest.

At the moment, the best options to invest in would be real estate, the stock market and the cryptocurrency market. But there are more options like investing in gold and silver, for example. There are A LOT of different ways to invest.

Investing is a whole world of information and concepts you MUST learn if you’re planning on becoming wealthy… Because wealthy people always have most of their money outside of their bank account. Why? Because the money in your bank account loses value each year. But if invested, then it can work for you!

Start seeing your money as little soldiers that can bring you more money.

This way, when you purchase an expensive dress or a really fancy suit, you can think that you’re “sacrificing” your soldiers for that expensive purchase. This will (hopefully) deter you from making too many overly expensive buys.

And, when it comes to investing, don’t be afraid of all that you don’t know! There’s something called “learning” that will save you from that. Nothing to fear!

When you were 5 years old, you didn’t know anything about Maths, but you still learned it. Heck, when you were a 1-year-old, you didn’t even know how to speak!

Everything you know today was once unknown to you. But you still learned it anyway.

I would recommend buying books over reading blog posts though. Books are much better structured and easier to tell if the author knows what they’re talking about.

And if you need something simpler like a YouTube channel that simplifies the concepts, you can always check out Andrei Jikh’s YT channel! (Just search for him on any search engine)

So, in conclusion, the equation is quite simple:

Through your passion, try to achieve wealth. If you’re successful, then you’ll be both wealthy and fulfilled.

If you’re unable to become wealthy, then you must try to do it through investing!

But be careful when it comes to following investment advice, there are a lot of scammers out there. Make SURE people know what they’re talking about before you follow anyone’s advice. And one key final piece of advice: never invest money you can’t afford to lose. Also, invest for the LONG TERM. There’s no such thing as getting rich quickly.

Hope this article was of value to you.
